Sorry to say, but that looks well rank!

Lovers and haters all welcome, if we all did the same thing wouldnt life be boreing.

I drove her on 13s today had to jack the suspension up by 3". The wheels just dissappeared into the arches, I have to say it was a little scitish.

As for the engine I have no idea whats in it I purchased the whole Metro Turbo from a friend and fitted it to one of my cars in 2002. On 15" it spun the wheels in all gears and had the scarey tendancy to light up the tyres in 2nd approaching 5500rpm at about 16psi. Hence its been sat on a pallet ever since. My mate swares thats how he got it in the car.

The suspention uses modified metro rear radius arms and shortened metro hand brake cable the front is all Sourced from MIni Spares nothing special there.

the torque steer has probably reduced alot due to each wheel weighing about 30x more than a set of 10's so the engine cant spin them!

Hi,
Ok, head above the parapet .... I like it :)
I could almost sell my 13s to buy something bigger, but it would be too much work this far into the project...
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I cant see the diff lasting very long.

I cant decide weither i like the look of bigger wheels or not but if were to do that id stick in an engine ment for that size of rim.

Good efforts though!

The odd thing about it is they are not much taller than 13s and shorter than the 15s I had on.

Hopefully the increased ratio on the straight cut drops will compensate for the extra rolling diamiter of the tyres. The good thing is she tracks a lot better now and is not prone to as much torque stear, but then again I am only going to run 0.5 bar

Been a while since I last worked on a project and the new one needs some work. My full wish list is as follows
I'll not bore you with the engine as we have all been there.
Carbon roof skin
Carbon bonnet
Bonded carbon door skins
Fortec kit
Force racing 15"alloys (already got)
Additional Azev A 16"alloys ( already got
Full cage
Data logger display
Mapable ignition

The list will grow and my pockets will empty, but first I need to deal with the metal worm and thus I need some guidance.

I'm replacing the inner and outer sills on both sides and what I need help with is the deletion of the slinging points in front of the rear heel boards can i do this or do they need to be retrained to support the sub frame mounts
